Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. How much does it cost to record?
A1. You only pay for the quantity of CD's you order. There is a minimum order of 100. We advise you to collect orders on or before the day of the recording.
Q2. How can we raise £1200?
A2. If you order 300 CD's and recoup £3000 in sales you will have made a net profit of £1200 (RRP £10)
Q3. What about copyright?
A3. All copyright costs are included.
Q4. How many songs can we record?
A4. We recommend 10 songs per album. Usually the youngest children sing one song each and the older yeargroups two.
Q5. How do we design the CD cover? Can we add additional information inside?
A5. You will need to create an album title to design a front cover, it's fun to have a competition for the children to do this. Simple, bold, brightly coloured designs work best. The front cover should have no text (we will print that) and be approx.12cm x 12cm square. The front cover artwork and any additional information should be supplied to us by the recording date, we will do the rest.
Q6. How long does it take to receive our finished CD's?
A6. We can deliver your CD's within seven working days of receipt of payment. All CD albums are professionally printed & packed in jewel cases for immediate sale.
Please email us if you have any further questions.
If you would like us to record your school album please email info@myfirstcd.co.uk with your name and school address and the numbers of your chosen song titles:
